First notice the structure by following the action. One thing you should notice is that the verse breaks in the wrong place. Please note that chapter breaks and verse breaks were done by Robert Stephanus in the 16th century and he had no idea what he was doing and unfortunately they stuck. Verse 5 should begin with “In them he has set…”. If you look closely, you will notice that a person can sing the first line of the song and then the choir responds. This is repeated with both the leader and choir singing the last line together: “whose voice is not heard.” There is a middle part where the leader sings and the choir responds. Then there the final part which is a repeat of the first – leader, response, leader, response, both: “and there sin nothing hidden from its heat.” From this structure you can make out the meaning or point of this song. So what is the point of this song? | its looks like a beautiful song, I think the meaning of the song is that God is way more powerful then we can imagine but since he is merciful we should praise him that he has not punished us for our transgressions ( or sins) Add Comment |

Verse 4 is a bit odd. That seems strange. Read Ephesians 4:17-27. The word for anger here is not “be mad” but rather be in awe of God. A better word is fear, or revere. Often when we stew over something we leave God out of it. How would fearing God (trusting, turn it over to God) prevent us from sinning when we are angry at someone and it is keeping us awake? | that God made and loves that person two and that Jesus forgive so we should forgive also, It sound easier than it is Add Comment |
David offers at least four things a person can do rather than stew in verse 3 and 4 that will quiet your heart so you can sleep in peace. Why or why not? | No and yes I feel like it is complicated, the argument makes sense on both sides but I leaning toward the no, and that is because it kinda represents that God loved us so much he sent a part of himself to die for us, if it were just some random guy it wouldn't feel so special like kind of empty, Think of it this way, so,This guy had a daughter, and she tried to do a too advanced trick on her skate board, right? And she fell and broke her leg BUT she also broke her skate board, yeah? And she needed to get stitches and all that at the hospital , and her dad felt bad so he got her a new skate board and some flowers... but then he didn't really feel like running all the way over to the hospital to give it to her so he asked a friend to do it for him, and his friend did it but she didn't really feel grateful because her father didn't care about her enough to do it himself. and that is why I think it is a good thing that God sent his one and only son to save the world, I love that God cares that much.
